This is the most glamorous example we’ve ever seen for the esso software and it’s updates. Similar to the articles posted a couple of weeks ago, taking the basic concept of the ESSO software and relating it to your business can lead to incredible results. Tom Buckland (pictured right) first came to us and we first saw how this was the case in resume writing and distribution. Then we saw how Dan did this to provide automatic printing of all confirmed orders, this meant he could streamline the entire distribution process and how this has helped him to spend more time on creative marketing rather than constantly checking orders. This even worked over night too, a 24/7 solution!
But to our most reason example it’s glam because its in a very sexy industry. The application for the programme is very smart as well.
Obviously with supercar rental the key is efficiency of process. The products are so expensive you don’t want to waste any-time messing with additional steps such as printing orders or calling back clients to re-take payments, this is just a no-no!
So instead of having a really complicated site, they decided to go back to basics, a super simple site, checkout options and then this goes straight into a calendar (not an excel as we previously used.) This calendar then allowed people to calculate how long it would take for delivery and hence would input when the car had to be distributed to the location in question.
But by far the best additional they made was they stopped people from ordering the same model when there would have been cross over. The supercar can’t be in 2 places in once, so if this would have been the case if the order was completed, the software would come in and prompt the visitor of the dates it was available, similar to how Airbnb doesn’t allow you to request a booking if its already booked!
